Description

  • Manage a portfolio of clients independently, from sole proprietors and artisans to agricultural and commercial businesses.
  • Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements and tax filings.
  • Draw up balance sheets and present annual accounts to clients alongside a chartered accountant.
  • Handle tailored assignments such as dashboards, financial forecasts and performance indicators.
  • Prepare personal income tax returns.
  • Use digital tools to help clients track their accounts and organize administrative tasks.
  • Support business owners with practical advice.
  • Work closely with the agency manager and chartered accountant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, with at least three years of post-secondary study.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience at a chartered accounting firm is preferred.
  • Knowledge of agricultural accounting and agricultural income taxation (BA) is an advantage.
  • Be curious, organized and methodical.
  • Have a strong interest in digital technology.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
