Afternoon Shift Customer Service Representative
Coordinate warehouse orders, inventory, freight records, and documentation while supporting GXO’s warehouse teams.
Description
- Coordinate work assignments for warehouse staff, material handlers, and drivers
- Prepare work orders, investigate order issues, and resolve discrepancies
- Assign and release orders for loading and unloading
- Allocate and research inventory for customer orders
- Record inbound and outbound freight information in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Prepare bills of lading (BOLs)
- Maintain and produce required reports
- Process, review, and file operational documents
- Help managers and supervisors coordinate warehouse tasks, including inventory, packing slips, reports, and customer orders
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, coworkers, and management
- Multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced setting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Work a flexible schedule when needed
- One year of customer service experience
- Six months of warehouse experience
- A pre-employment drug test may be required after a conditional offer
- Follow GXO’s COVID safety policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state, and local requirements
