Description

  • Shape and implement major components of new cloud architecture
  • Work closely with senior technologists
  • Build low-latency, highly scalable services
  • Coordinate with desktop agent and artificial intelligence teams
  • Advance hiring, design reviews, postmortems, and the team’s technical capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • At least six years of experience building and operating high-volume, highly resilient Tier 1 cloud services and systems
  • Proficiency in Go, Java, or comparable technologies
  • Ability to develop elegant, straightforward solutions to complex problems
  • Capacity to work quickly through ambiguity and lead collaboration across teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
  • Experience guiding technical decisions across teams and stakeholder groups
  • A strong sense of ownership for the systems you build
  • Commitment to growing teams through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship
  • Demonstrated use of artificial intelligence technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and support business outcomes
  • For employment in Canada, legal authorization to work in Canada
