Support plasma donation operations at Grifols’ Channelview center through donor screening, suitability assessments, and accurate confidential processing. Deliver responsive customer service while helping maintain safe, complete donor records.

Description

  • Perform medical screening before donations
  • Assist donors and address their needs throughout the process
  • Evaluate donor eligibility and prepare donation setups
  • Explain next steps and provide appropriate feedback to candidates who are not eligible
  • Complete all donor screening documentation accurately
  • Protect donor privacy and confidential information

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Motivation to contribute to meaningful healthcare work
  • Ability to obtain applicable state licenses or certifications
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and comprehend spoken information
  • Ability to manage sensitive information when working with diverse groups
  • Willingness to work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold in a plasma center
  • Ability to remain seated or standing for a full shift and bend or twist the neck and waist
  • Frequent hand and finger use with precise coordination for grasping and manipulating objects
  • Ability to squat, crouch, or sit on the heels occasionally
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds maximum
  • Essential hearing acuity
  • Correctable near and distance vision, including required color perception and discrimination
  • Ability to complete complex tasks in variable and changing conditions
