ETL

Description

Build and lead the enterprise business intelligence and decision support program
Manage analysts developing dashboards, scorecards, performance measures, and decision support tools
Coordinate business intelligence resources through intake, prioritization, and governance
Set key performance indicators, targets, and enterprise metrics with organizational leaders
Create standards for dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data visualizations
Lead enterprise education, training, data literacy, and adoption efforts
Oversee enterprise data engineering, the data warehouse, integration platforms, Epic Cogito, and data architecture
Guide data warehouse design, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management
Lead ETL/ELT development, APIs, interoperability, data pipelines, and Epic and non-Epic data integration
Govern enterprise data assets and Epic reporting content
Safeguard data quality, integrity, availability, privacy, and security
Advance the enterprise data platform with automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics
Set and deliver the enterprise intelligence and decision support vision, strategy, governance, operating and staffing models, and budget
Advise senior leaders and partner with clinical, operational, financial, quality, research, and Information Solutions teams
Recommend investments and operational improvements using analytics, benchmarking, forecasting, and performance analysis
Develop the Enterprise Intelligence and Decision Support team through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, engagement, and professional development
Set operational goals, service levels, performance measures, and continuous improvement objectives
Lead cross-disciplinary initiatives and shape strategic decisions across the organization
Carry out other assigned duties

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or a related field
Eight to ten years of data warehousing and business intelligence experience, preferably in healthcare
Experience driving continuous process improvement
Experience serving as an internal consultant to management and staff
Knowledge of business intelligence, data engineering, and enterprise data management principles and practices
Knowledge of healthcare clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory environments
Knowledge of data governance, stewardship, standardization, and data quality management
Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, data integration, and ETL/ELT methods
Knowledge of Epic Cogito or comparable EHR reporting and analytics platforms
Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA
Knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning applications
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A relevant advanced degree is preferred
Six Sigma certification is preferred
