Database Administrator - Nantes Hybrid

Database Administrator role with Consort Group, supporting enterprise data and infrastructure. Manage Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL environments in a hybrid Nantes setting.

Description

  • Maintain and improve database infrastructure to support operational continuity
  • Install, configure, and deploy Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases
  • Support database migrations, upgrades, and new platform deployments
  • Implement high-availability, replication, and clustering solutions
  • Design and optimize database-related storage architectures
  • Help industrialize operations and drive continuous process improvement
  • Administer Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL environments on a daily basis
  • Resolve incidents and change requests within service-level commitments
  • Manage NetBackup backups, restores, and business continuity plans
  • Administer user accounts, roles, and access permissions
  • Monitor performance and optimize data infrastructure resources
  • Run and monitor scheduled jobs through Control-M
  • Maintain current technical documentation and operating procedures

Requirements

  • At least three years of database administration experience in demanding production environments
  • Hands-on administration of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Experience managing backups and restores with NetBackup
  • Experience scheduling and monitoring jobs with Control-M
  • Knowledge of high availability, replication, clustering, and performance optimization
  • Experience in managed services and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Careful, organized, and detail-oriented approach
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge
  • Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Proactive approach to identifying and recommending improvements
