Description

  • Triage and complete incoming data requests through JIRA Service Desk
  • Examine source-system databases to find relevant datasets and determine the best columns for extraction and transformation
  • Oversee delivery from development through peer review, formal approval, and release
  • Review service desk demand patterns and create automated reports that reduce one-off requests
  • Create data models, analytical outputs, and reporting frameworks
  • Write performant SQL and develop modular data pipelines using Git for version control
  • Serve as the main contact for business data requests, converting stakeholder needs into efficient data solutions

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL and Python skills for processing and transforming data
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, particularly AWS and Databricks
  • Working knowledge of Git-based version control and CI/CD practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities, including translating requirements into deliverables
  • Knowledge of Medallion architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers is desirable
  • Practical experience with ETL/ELT orchestration and data-quality frameworks is desirable
