Data Center Team Lead – Dock B Shift, Lockbourne, Ohio

Lead data center dock operations, including server installation, cabling, rack hardware, freight, inventory, and warehouse workflows. Support customer service and team coordination for DSV’s logistics operations.

Description

  • Maintain material orders, customer service, and inventory management processes
  • Coordinate customer requests for material movement
  • Assemble and install servers and electronic components with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Supervise inbound and outbound freight loading and unloading
  • Maintain shipping documentation and records
  • Inspect inbound and outbound freight for quality
  • Complete daily inventory cycle counts and replenish critical spare parts
  • Process returns through multiple warehouse management systems
  • Position server racks on the data center floor using laser measurement equipment
  • Install electronic components and cabling in server racks according to diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Lead cleanup activities that support safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
  • Assign work and coach team members
  • Engage with data center customers and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Computer experience
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, static discharge hazards, and related protocols
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Successful completion of required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
  • Successful completion of required drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
