Data Architecture and Governance Coordinator at Lefosse

Lead data architecture, business intelligence, and governance to support scalable solutions at law firm Lefosse. Manage data professionals, platforms, and practices in a hybrid role.

Description

  • Lead and develop data professionals, overseeing team performance, priorities, deliverables, and technical growth.
  • Guide the development of data architecture and platforms to deliver scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.
  • Set standards for data ingestion, transformation, modeling, integration, delivery, and use.
  • Advise Data Engineering and BI teams on architecture, pipelines, data models, and Power BI solutions.
  • Build and improve governance across data quality, documentation, cataloging, lineage, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Promote sound practices for development, version control, CI/CD, monitoring, and solution support.
  • Coordinate data requests and initiatives, setting priorities, tracking deliverables, and helping clear blockers.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to turn their needs into sustainable, scalable data solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing data professionals.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and relational and dimensional data modeling.
  • Strong Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, and analytical solution development.
  • Experience with modern data architectures, such as data lakes and lakehouses.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data services such as Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks, or equivalent technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality, security, cataloging, and lineage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Power BI integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview or another data governance solution.
  • Knowledge of Medallion Architecture, data products, and FinOps.
  • Experience integrating APIs, databases, systems, and cloud environments.
  • Microsoft certification in Fabric, Azure, or Power BI.
  • Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
