Description

  • Shape current and future business strategy through data analytics
  • Build and apply models to test and validate data
  • Analyze extensive datasets in changing environments
  • Support brand growth in emerging markets
  • Use analytics to enhance the customer experience
  • Contribute across the full project life cycle and deliver results
  • Partner with teams across business units
  • Mine data to generate critical organizational insights

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 6 years of data analytics experience, or a master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience; the required degree must be earned by the scheduled start date
  • At least 4 years of professional data analysis experience
  • At least 4 years of programming experience
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a STEM discipline
  • Preferred: At least 7 years of professional data analysis experience
  • Preferred: At least 4 years of experience with Python, R, Spark, or SQL
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of people management experience
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of project management experience
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of Tableau experience
  • Proficiency in using and developing with AWS services
  • Ability to work with machine learning, data architecture, modeling, regulatory frameworks, risk controls, and compliance mandates
  • Strong problem-solving and conceptual-thinking skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and collaboratively
  • Business intelligence experience is strongly encouraged
  • Capital One will consider sponsoring a qualified new applicant for employment authorization
