Contract UX/UI Designer — Montreal Hybrid
Kabam is seeking a contract UX/UI Designer to create user flows, wireframes, and visual assets for multiplayer games. The role supports production milestones while helping improve player experiences.
Description
- Establish the UX/UI scope and expected impact for assigned project briefs
- Collect feature requirements in collaboration with design, art, and technology leads
- Create user flows, wireframes, UI assets, and specifications for assigned features
- Develop interaction designs and visual assets for defined deliverables
- Present design concepts and supporting rationale during milestone reviews
- Handle additional UI/UX work required to meet internal production deadlines
- Review assigned game flows and recommend focused user-experience improvements
- Transfer finalized design assets and documentation to internal teams
- Deliver services independently on a project basis using professional judgment, expertise, and established methods
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in UI design, UX design, or both
- Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly interface designs
- Experience with and commitment to advocating for inclusive design
- Strong visual design sensibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
