Cloud Engineer – IaaS, Warsaw Hybrid

Manage secure Frontex cloud infrastructure in a hybrid Warsaw role. Automate operations and support development teams using Azure, Terraform, and DevOps practices.

Description

  • Manage and monitor enterprise cloud environments, including subscriptions, identities, resource administration, and process automation
  • Track and report cloud resource usage and consumption
  • Create, revise, and maintain reports and operational workflows
  • Develop, update, and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  • Provision and retire development environments and DevOps projects
  • Provide second-line cloud services support to Frontex application development teams
  • Coordinate activities with third-line support teams
  • Attend coordination sessions and project meetings
  • Complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Level 6 minimum educational qualification
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • At least five years of relevant IT experience, including two years in related roles
  • CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL security clearance
  • At least one mid-level AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification, or an internationally recognized equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Practical knowledge of enterprise cloud services across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Experience designing and delivering cloud compute, storage, and networking services
  • Strong scripting and programming skills with PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt, and object-oriented languages
  • Demonstrable Linux administration and scripting experience, preferably with Red Hat
  • Basic experience administering Microsoft systems
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts and practices
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance tooling
  • Experience working with multiple support groups
  • Experience using ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management processes
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and teamwork abilities; proactive, self-directed, user-focused, and adaptable to rapidly evolving technologies.
  • Able to work proactively and independently with a user-focused approach while adapting to rapidly changing technologies.
