Clinical Data Acquisition Manager at Devoted Health (Remote US)

Lead clinical data acquisition for Devoted Health’s older-member care by improving healthcare data exchange and usability. Manage integrations, data-gap analysis, vendor partnerships, interoperability initiatives, and performance measurement.

Description

  • Build expertise in clinical data needs—including medical records, lab results, ADT data, and usability requirements—across Devoted Health Plans and Devoted Medical.
  • Coordinate outcomes with external partners and internal teams such as Network Management, Risk Adjustment, Stars, Devoted Medical, and Payment Integrity.
  • Assess clinical data availability by geography to identify gaps, root causes, and opportunities to acquire additional data.
  • Create execution plans that expand clinical data coverage across markets and improve usability for stakeholder teams.
  • Deliver technical integrations with Health Information Exchanges, laboratories, Electronic Health Record systems, data aggregators, and other clinical data sources.
  • Maintain the quality of incoming clinical data.
  • Evaluate new frameworks, optimize connections, and manage vendor relationships to scale data exchange, improve quality, and reduce gaps.
  • Introduce AI-enabled processes and methodologies that keep clinical data consistently available and usable.
  • Establish, implement, and manage KPIs that measure program success.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, data operations, and/or program management, with a record of leading complex initiatives or teams.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare IT systems and data exchange methods, including SFTP, RESTful APIs, HL7 v2, and XML.
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability, including CMS interoperability requirements, FHIR, USCDI, TEFCA, and varied EHR systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including evaluating complex data, extracting insights, and converting findings into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Google Sheets or Excel for analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across Operations, Network Management, Product, and Technology and build relationships with external partners and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and results-focused, able to balance competing priorities, manage critical work independently, and complete projects in a fast-paced environment.
