Azure Cloud Engineer in Belgium (Remote)

Design and operate Azure and hybrid cloud environments for Inetum’s customer projects across Belgium. The role covers containers, infrastructure automation, governance, support, and cloud platform optimization.

Description

  • Build and deploy Azure infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Configure and administer Azure container platforms, including Kubernetes and Docker
  • Automate infrastructure and operational workflows with Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible
  • Monitor and improve Azure cost efficiency, performance, security, compliance, and policy management
  • Deliver level 2 and level 3 support for incidents and change activities
  • Contribute to customer implementations and cloud projects throughout Belgium
  • Guide customers and internal colleagues on Azure practices and developing technologies
  • Administer Azure platform services including Logic Apps, Container Apps, and Application Gateway
  • Use Azure DevOps and/or GitHub in development and delivery workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, or comparable professional experience
  • At least three years of experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and virtualization is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell or Python scripting
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
  • Experience using monitoring tools and applying cloud security principles
  • Strong analytical ability and practical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Dutch and English communication skills
  • French language skills are an advantage
  • Medior or senior-level profile with the ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Azure certifications are advantageous
