Description

  • Create and document test approaches for cloud-based, enterprise-grade wireless networks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and carry out comprehensive test strategies
  • Validate features and solutions across cloud-managed wireless products
  • Identify defects quickly, investigate root causes with developers, and drive issues through resolution
  • Propose software enhancements that improve the user experience
  • Collaborate with automation specialists to build scripts for wireless feature coverage

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
  • At least four years of networking experience covering VLANs, switches, TCP/IP, and DHCP
  • At least four years of experience with Wi-Fi 802.11 technology and enterprise wireless solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with network management systems and/or cloud-managed enterprise networks
  • Practical experience using RF equipment, diagnostic tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis
  • Solid knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON
  • Experience working with infrastructure tools including Jenkins, Git, and Jira
  • Experience setting up testbeds
  • Experience with Wi-Fi 11ax and 6E products is preferred
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch, is a plus
