Duty Drawback Analyst – Hybrid in Israel

Description

  • Blend data analysis with hands-on operational support for the Duty Drawback program.
  • Apply data to prepare claims, assess program performance, spot trends and gaps, and identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze large datasets.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • Cross-check data from multiple sources.
  • Partner with BI and Data teams to improve data quality and reporting tools.
  • Assist with claim submissions.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to merchant questions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Help improve operational processes.

Requirements

  • A mandatory BA or BS in a relevant discipline, such as Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
  • Strong Excel proficiency and practical SQL knowledge are mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools and large datasets is mandatory.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to examine data, detect inconsistencies, and develop meaningful conclusions.
  • Experience in customs, international trade, logistics, or Duty Drawback is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of VAT, duties, customs procedures, or government portals is an advantage.
  • Experience with KPI reporting or process automation is an advantage.
