Description

  • Compile data and produce operational reports
  • Improve processes used to deliver reporting
  • Enter information into established databases
  • Make straightforward updates to databases
  • Generate standard reports
  • Prepare one-off reports for business operations
  • Track and distribute recurring reports to business teams
  • Complete basic testing activities
  • Apply data-collection practices that support accurate, repeatable results
  • Update existing reports as business requirements change
  • Gather data for future analysis
  • Watch reporting environments for performance concerns
  • Work with senior staff to troubleshoot issues
  • Assess current reports and confirm the need for existing and proposed reports
  • Complete other duties related to the role
  • Report to department leadership and coordinate with leaders and other BCBSLA divisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field; four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree
  • At least one year of operational reporting experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services experience preferred
  • Proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, and related software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret and convey information tactfully, diplomatically, patiently, and professionally
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Authorization to work for Louisiana Blue in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support
  • Louisiana residency or relocation is preferred
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen required
  • Background screening required
  • Ability to comprehend, document, calculate, visualize, and analyze information required
  • Required education and experience qualifications must be met for consideration
