Associate Director, Digital Project Management (Remote - United States)

Lead $1M-$3M digital projects for DEPT®, a technology and marketing growth company. Oversee delivery, budgets, client relationships, and cross-functional project operations.

Description

  • Lead mid-sized and large digital projects with typical budgets of $1M-$3M across websites, digital platforms, content, and campaigns
  • Establish project scope, deliverables, schedules, and staffing plans with multidisciplinary teams
  • Own delivery from kickoff through completion, keeping work on schedule, aligned with the brief, and within budget
  • Anticipate risks, remove obstacles, and escalate issues promptly
  • Track project financials, including estimates, actuals, estimate to complete, and estimate at completion
  • Improve project workflows to minimize operational friction
  • Refine delivery processes, templates, and working practices
  • Help introduce new tools and operational methods
  • Promote thorough documentation, quality assurance, and delivery standards
  • Act as a primary client contact for ongoing delivery matters
  • Set agendas, facilitate project meetings, and coordinate stakeholder alignment
  • Record decisions, action items, and follow-up steps
  • Develop effective partnerships across departments
  • Support delivery enhancements, workflow improvements, and team enablement
  • Maintain ownership and coordinate effectively with peers and related functions

Requirements

  • Bring 5-7 years of digital project or program management experience, including ownership of major engagements or multiple workstreams
  • Have managed end-to-end projects with budgets exceeding $1M
  • Understand UX/UI workflows, design systems, and digital production processes in depth
  • Work comfortably across agile, waterfall, and hybrid methods such as Scrumfall
  • Use Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and G Suite proficiently
  • Adapt readily to new tools when project needs require them
  • Demonstrate strong financial judgment in estimating, budget tracking, and profitability reporting
  • Communicate clearly and manage time effectively in cross-functional settings
