Annual Fund and Events Manager (Hybrid)

Lead annual giving, donor stewardship, and fundraising events for Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania. Manage multichannel appeals, grassroots campaigns, donor engagement, and event operations.

Description

  • Oversee PPWP’s annual fundraising appeals and event revenue objectives
  • Develop and carry out yearly donor cultivation and stewardship plans
  • Engage grassroots and annual fund donors through social media, email, events, and related outreach
  • Organize and deliver fundraising events supporting PPWP programs and services
  • Direct grassroots campaigns such as Pledge-a-Picketer, Giving Tuesday, and Critical Needs Day
  • Implement multichannel fundraising initiatives and segment audiences using donor data and behavior
  • Coordinate PPWP’s participation in Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Collaborative Fundraising Program
  • Partner with the Donor Database Coordinator on cultivation, stewardship, solicitation, and donor records
  • Ensure gifts are accepted and donors receive timely acknowledgments
  • Plan and oversee quarterly fundraisers, donor House Parties, and cultivation and stewardship events
  • Manage pre-event and event-day operations, including RSVPs, schedules, vendors, staff, and attendee communications
  • Support planning for PPWP’s Annual Spring Gala and Bans Off Our Bodies Benefit
  • Act as the community liaison for third-party fundraising events

Requirements

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development
  • Track record of managing individual giving programs, including annual giving and fundraising appeals
  • Background in digital and direct-response fundraising
  • Experience working with donor databases or CRM platforms to monitor and assess donor activity
  • Strong organizational skills for handling multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Ability to create precise, compelling communications with close attention to detail
  • Self-directed approach with the initiative to work independently
  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work required by fundraising events
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and solve problems effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness and ability to learn CRM and donor database platforms
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for approximately 75%–90% of the workday
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, such as Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business Administration, or Public Relations
  • Salesforce or DonorPerfect experience preferred
