Description

  • Lead large language model machine learning solution development and deployment
  • Manage the full machine learning lifecycle, from data curation and training through deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback
  • Apply machine learning expertise to public safety systems, including 911 call handling, dispatch, and case management, as well as enterprise applications
  • Partner with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to deliver scalable machine learning products
  • Build reusable components that connect research teams with production engineering
  • Connect AI research and production engineering to create dependable machine learning systems
  • Direct the delivery and deployment of LLM-based machine learning solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of machine learning experience
  • At least 2 years of experience directly managing technical teams
  • At least 8 years of combined experience as a machine learning researcher, or a postgraduate degree in quantitative science or engineering
  • Experience taking an LLM-based solution from inception through market launch
  • Experience managing cloud-based software engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Public safety or enterprise software development experience is preferred
  • Experience managing engineers and researchers while partnering across UI/UX and product management is preferred
  • Experience applying UX guidance to LLM-oriented design patterns, testing approaches, and training methods is preferred
  • Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and established best practices is preferred
