- Drive territory sales for Ritchie Bros. through prospecting, business development, planning, and pipeline oversight
- Win new business, expand existing accounts, and strengthen customer relationships
- Grow the territory by maintaining its Playbook and using Salesforce CRM regularly
- Assess customer needs and present tailored solutions that demonstrate clear value
- Work with internal teams to negotiate agreements and secure closed deals
- Participate in four to six regional auction sales, typically for one to two days each
- Spend approximately five to seven nights per month traveling across the territory, plus one to two days before each auction sale
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Two to ten years of experience in a structured outside or field sales position
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in quota-based sales
- Equipment or construction equipment industry experience is preferred
- Strong industry knowledge or related experience is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to establish and sustain genuine customer relationships
- Competitive mindset balanced with integrity
- Comfort working mainly from a home office and on the road
