Advisor Application Architect (Remote, Kentucky)

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a remote Advisor Application Architect in Kentucky to analyze healthcare data, develop SQL and ETL mappings, and support regulated system implementation, testing, and certification.

Description

  • Lead a small team of data analysts or partner with fellow analysts.
  • Develop program specifications and data-mapping documentation.
  • Analyze datasets to define transformation requirements.
  • Collaborate with ETL, reporting, and conversion teams to align code with documented business requirements.
  • Test interfaces and reports against defined requirements.
  • Identify effective practices and recommend process improvements.
  • Work with the development lead to allocate project tasks and keep delivery on schedule.
  • Investigate and evaluate business and technical requirements.
  • Create and structure data-mapping documents.
  • Present analysis and findings to colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Coordinate work assignments with the development lead.
  • Complete project documentation in partnership with project management.
  • Produce accurate mappings in accordance with established mapping processes.
  • Provide ETL, reporting, and conversion developers with support based on approved mappings.
  • Coordinate with configuration teams and DBAs to synchronize configurations, interfaces, and mappings.
  • Update mapping documents as open questions are resolved.
  • Apply SQL, data models, data dictionaries, and schemas to data and business analysis.
  • Develop unit test cases.
  • Assess test-plan results against detailed design objectives.
  • Maintain technical specifications and mapping documentation.
  • Support unit, system integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • At least five years supporting pharmacy benefit, claims administration, Medicaid, Medicare, healthcare payer, or another highly regulated healthcare setting.
  • At least seven years using SQL to analyze, validate, reconcile, transform, or troubleshoot complex relational data.
  • Experience contributing to large-scale system implementation, modernization, conversion, or DDI programs.
  • Proven ability to create source-to-target mappings, interface specifications, data-analysis outputs, and testing artifacts.
  • Experience creating or maintaining ICDs, companion guides, and detailed mapping workbooks.
  • Experience supporting CMS or state certification activities.
  • Video cameras are required for all interviews and throughout the first week of orientation.
  • Must be based in the United States.
