Administrative Assistant, Mobile Cancer Screening Operations

Support patient scheduling, registration, care coordination, and navigation for Ohio State mobile cancer screening units. Help maintain efficient clinic operations, data tracking, and administrative reporting.

Description

  • Support the James Mobile Screening Units with patient scheduling, registration, care coordination, navigation assistance, data tracking, and related administrative duties.
  • Coordinate communication among patients, providers, mobile unit staff, community partners, and healthcare teams.
  • Help patients access cancer screening services promptly.
  • Contribute to smooth and efficient clinic operations.
  • Report to the business operations analyst.
  • Assist the business operations analyst with a range of administrative tasks.
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee and patient information.
  • Provide administrative support for business planning and operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Certification or vocational training may be preferred.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience may be preferred.
  • Final candidates must successfully complete a background check.
  • A drug screen or physical examination may be required after an offer.
  • Ability to preserve strict confidentiality of employee and patient information.
