3D Designer Contract – New York Hybrid
Contract 3D Designer role at Imagination creating experiential brand environments. Develop spatial concepts, technical drawings, and high-quality visualizations for large-scale brand experiences.
Description
- Shape 3D concepts, layouts, and designs around creative briefs and brand narratives
- Use expertise in detailing, materials, and fabrication methods
- Produce detailed Vectorworks drawing packages in 3D, including plans, elevations, and construction details
- Prepare polished Enscape and Cinema 4D renders for weekly client presentations and reviews
- Partner with 2D designers and motion specialists to bring graphic elements into 3D environments
- Support the leadership of internal discussions and presentations
- Collaborate with UX designers, 2D designers, and strategists on integrated creative solutions
- Design and deliver a major brand experience, whether a permanent facility or event, in early to mid-2027
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in 3D design, interior architecture, exhibition, or environmental design
- A degree or equivalent qualification in interior, architectural, or environmental design
- A strong portfolio demonstrating spatial storytelling, experiential brand environments, and high-quality visualizations
- A refined design sensibility with deep knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and production workflows
- The ability to visualize and communicate ideas rapidly
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills
- The ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
- Advanced proficiency with 3D modeling and rendering tools, including Cinema 4D and Enscape
- Experience creating technical drawings and 3D models in Vectorworks
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools
