Software Engineering Manager, ACI Worldwide (Pune, Hybrid)
Lead software engineering teams, technical strategy, product security, and AI-enabled development for ACI Worldwide’s real-time payments software. Drive secure product delivery while developing people and aligning engineering execution with business goals.
विवरण
- Oversee one or more software systems or application development functions.
- Recruit, develop, and evaluate personnel to support efficient team operations.
- Direct ACI development resources in line with corporate and divisional objectives.
- Coach staff to support technical, managerial, and broader professional growth.
- Provide regular feedback and complete performance evaluations.
- Prepare annual staff compensation and training plans, and report on staff and project progress.
- Partner with senior leadership to define technical direction for company products and services.
- Lead product and service development and maintenance in accordance with strategic and business plans.
- Manage product security through risk reduction, compliance, security training, secure development lifecycle practices, and security architecture.
- Coordinate with internal and external organizations to support information sharing, staff development, and successful project delivery.
- Lead AI-enabled initiatives spanning AI-accelerated software development lifecycles and AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions delivered as products or operational capabilities.
- Define responsible AI practices and enforce safe prompting and data-handling standards.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Follow corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years of software development or design experience.
- At least 5 years of direct management or leadership experience, including performance management and staff development.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and connect engineering work to business and strategic objectives.
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent software development projects and competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including secure development practices.
- Working knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their use in software development.
- Ability to assess and guide the adoption of AI-based tools and technologies.
- Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and staff development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including engagement with technical teams and senior leaders.
- Ability to mentor, guide, and develop technical talent.
- Software development management experience in payments, fintech, or financial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices, product security architecture, and risk or compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum and distributed or cross-functional development teams is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and modern architectures such as microservices and APIs is preferred.
- Experience with performance management, career development, and succession planning is preferred.
- Experience contributing to or owning technical roadmaps aligned with business strategy is preferred.
- Experience leading AI-accelerated software development lifecycle initiatives and delivering AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions.
- Ability to establish responsible AI practices and assess solution correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Ability to enforce safe prompting and data handling, including protection of secrets, credentials, PCI data, and personally identifiable information.
- Willingness to undertake limited domestic or international travel when required.
