Senior Underwriting Assurance Team Lead – Dublin Onsite
Lead underwriting assurance activities in Dublin, covering regulatory returns, control oversight, reporting quality and process improvement. Manage and develop Analysts and Interns while partnering with teams across insurance operations.

- Lead first-line oversight of underwriting regulatory returns, controls, training and stakeholder relationships
- Coordinate ATIA, GAREAT, NNPP and other governance returns
- Partner with Underwriting, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Tax, Data Analytics and other teams to gather inputs and resolve issues
- Keep reporting procedures, checklists and supporting evidence accurate and up to date
- Identify and escalate data-quality concerns, unclear ownership, dependencies and reporting risks
- Allocate daily workloads and support Analysts and Interns
- Review team outputs and deliver constructive feedback
- Contribute to onboarding, coaching, mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities
- Encourage cross-training and resolve issues early and constructively
- Oversee underwriting file reviews, quality checks, results reporting and action tracking
- Assess findings to identify recurring issues and opportunities to reinforce controls
- Share relevant feedback with Underwriters and stakeholders, escalating material or recurring concerns
- Contribute to process improvements, automation and more effective ways of working
- Implement changes through revised procedures, training and follow-up checks
आवश्यकताएँ
- Background in insurance, underwriting operations, regulatory reporting, governance, controls, compliance or assurance
- Experience managing, coaching, mentoring or supervising colleagues
- Strong analytical ability with careful attention to detail
- Confidence evaluating evidence, reporting outputs and review findings
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities, protect quality and escalate issues appropriately
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ATIA, GAREAT, NNPP, surplus lines, contract certainty or broker remuneration returns
- Experience creating training materials, guidance, process documentation or stakeholder workshops
- Familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, workflow platforms or Microsoft Copilot
- Experience contributing to process improvement or controlled operational change
