Senior Customer Deployment Engineer – Kubernetes
Deploy Valarian’s ACRA secure platform in customer environments, leading Kubernetes installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Support operational handover and help customers run the platform reliably.

- Guide customer installations from discovery and readiness checks through deployment, validation, and handover
- Gather requirements for workloads, infrastructure, integrations, security, availability, and acceptance
- Confirm prerequisites for cluster capacity, networking, DNS, certificates, storage, identity, and access
- Install and configure ACRA with the Wizard in cloud, on-premise, and customer-managed environments
- Act as the main technical contact during delivery, sharing progress, blockers, responsibilities, and next steps
- Plan and carry out ACRA upgrades, including compatibility checks, maintenance windows, backups, recovery, and post-upgrade validation
- Assist customers with planning and carrying out Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster upgrades
- Configure, test, and refine unattended installation and upgrade workflows
- Diagnose deployment problems involving Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, and application dependencies
- Partner with engineering to fix product defects
- Check customer workflows and operational readiness before handover
- Keep deployment records, installation guides, and runbooks up to date
- Train customer operators and provide agreed support after go-live
- Turn recurring deployment issues and customer feedback into improvements to ACRA, the Onboarding Wizard, automation, and documentation
- Work with infrastructure, platform, product, and engineering teams
आवश्यकताएँ
- Hands-on experience deploying, troubleshooting, and operating production software on Kubernetes
- Practical knowledge of Linux
- Understanding of networking, DNS, TLS, persistent storage, containers, and access controls
- Experience delivering production upgrades and managing failed changes, including backups, recovery, and service validation
- Familiarity with Helm, GitOps, and infrastructure or deployment automation
- Experience working directly with customers or external technical stakeholders
- Ability to gather requirements and manage delivery expectations

- Ability to own deployments while working with customer teams and engineering specialists
- Ability to write scripts or small tools in Bash, Python, or a similar language
- Willingness to work onsite with customers, travel as needed, and support agreed maintenance windows
- Desirable: OpenShift or Kubernetes experience in on-premise, bare-metal, restricted, or air-gapped environments
- Desirable: Experience in regulated, sovereign, government, defence, or security-critical settings
- Desirable: Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, or comparable tools
- Desirable: Monitoring, secrets management, distributed storage, or Kubernetes networking
