Senior BI Specialist, Power BI & Microsoft Fabric – S&P Global, Hyderabad Onsite
Lead Power BI and Microsoft Fabric reporting solutions for S&P Global Energy in Hyderabad. Drive BI delivery, AI-enabled analytics, and team coordination in this senior onsite role.

- Create and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and KPI scorecards with DAX and Power Query
- Develop and support Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including gateways, database connections, Dataflow Gen1 and Gen2, data pipelines, Lakehouses, and OneLake
- Integrate information from enterprise databases, cloud services, APIs, and business-managed files
- Validate data quality and reliability so datasets are ready for reporting
- Design AI-assisted reporting experiences and visualizations
- Write effective prompts that help users investigate data and uncover insights
- Coordinate daily team work, set priorities, clear obstacles, and provide practical direction
- Improve workflows by delivering reusable tools, standards, and automation
- Assist the manager in advancing the organization’s use of data, reporting, and AI
आवश्यकताएँ
- Degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, engineering, information systems, data analytics, or a related discipline
- Professional background delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Strong Power BI development experience with DAX, Power Query, data modeling, semantic models, and performance tuning
- Practical Microsoft Fabric experience covering gateways, database connections, Dataflow Gen2, Lakehouses, and OneLake
- Experience creating AI-supported visuals or reporting experiences and developing effective prompts
- Experience coordinating daily team activities and organizing delivery
- Demonstrated success improving workflows, creating reusable solutions, and applying practical innovation
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders and lead meetings independently
- Ability to prioritize work, operate with limited supervision, and respond to changing business requirements
- Solid understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and application lifecycle management practices
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or AWS, along with data warehousing concepts
- Preferred: experience with Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, or other AI-assisted analytics tools
- Preferred: experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or comparable development and automation tools
- Preferred: experience supporting or mentoring BI developers; flexibility to work the 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST shift.
