- Maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Research accounting pronouncements and assess their reporting impact.
- Review trends and issues, then recommend changes.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile ledger accounts.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations.
- Coordinate with and support internal and external audits.
- Lead special projects and process improvement efforts.
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities.
- Analyze accounts to support accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct high-level reviews of account balances.
- Identify errors and reporting risks under company policies, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Communicate across organizational levels and escalate issues to management.
- Develop desktop procedures and training materials with subject matter experts.
- Deliver or support training for offshore and onshore teams.
- Assess offshore production against SLAs and recommend solutions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Prepare integrated revenue and expense analyses.

- Bring familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work effectively.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in analytical, verbal, and written contexts.
- Apply advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices under US GAAP.
- Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
- Use computers proficiently, including MS Office.
- Query data using data extraction tools.
- Have experience with large ERP software; Oracle is preferred.
- Hyperion experience is preferred.
- Apply critical thinking and root-cause analysis.
- Solve complex problems and make decisions.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Have at least four years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Preferably have at least two years of experience working with accounting teams based outside the United States.
- CPA certification is desired but not required.
