Remote Backend Data Engineer – Ukraine
Build scalable data pipelines, models, and backend infrastructure for evolving data products. Work with dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, orchestration platforms, and GenAI engineering tools.

- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and backend infrastructure
- Create and optimize dbt transformation workflows across cloud platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks
- Implement and operate orchestration workflows for dependable, production-ready data processing
- Develop internal data applications and engineering tools with Streamlit and related technologies
- Partner with Data Product Managers to turn business and product needs into effective technical solutions
- Work with engineering, analytics, and product teams to clarify needs, test assumptions, and shape practical solutions
- Apply GenAI development tools, including Cursor, Snowflake CoWork, Codex, and Claude Code, to improve engineering productivity
- Own delivery across design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing enhancement
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least three years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or a related discipline
- Practical expertise with dbt, SQL, data modeling, and pipeline development
- Experience using Snowflake or Databricks alongside modern orchestration tools
- Strong communication, collaboration, accountability, dependability, and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment with evolving requirements
- Willingness to learn new technologies and incorporate GenAI tools into daily engineering work
- Experience with Python, REST APIs, or backend service development is advantageous
- Experience with Streamlit or comparable frameworks for data-focused applications is advantageous
