Geospatial Solution and Data Architect - Bangalore Onsite
Lead the architecture of enterprise GIS platforms, interactive mapping applications, and spatial analytics capabilities. Integrate geospatial data with Atos digital services and enterprise systems.

- Define the overall GIS architecture for interactive mapping and future spatial analytics.
- Design GIS applications with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Experience Builder while assessing Azure Maps and Mapbox alternatives.
- Review ArcGIS environments and enterprise applications to identify reusable datasets, services, APIs, and geospatial layers.
- Plan the discovery, extraction, transformation, integration, and migration of enterprise data into the new GIS platform.
- Design GIS data-integration architecture using FME or comparable GIS ETL tools.
- Establish integration patterns linking GIS platforms with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms alongside enterprise architects and data teams.
- Define geospatial data models, feature classes, layers, relationships, and spatial data structures.
- Convert analytical requirements into GIS data models and spatial analytics solutions in collaboration with the analytics team.
- Architect future location intelligence, spatial analytics, and GIS-based decision-support capabilities.
- Evaluate Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, and Lakehouse suitability for GIS and analytical workloads.
- Design data flows connecting Microsoft Fabric, GIS platforms, enterprise applications, and analytical solutions.
- Ensure the GIS architecture meets requirements for scalability, security, performance, API integration, and future growth.
- Provide technical direction to GIS developers, data engineers, integration specialists, and analytics teams.
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least 12 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in GIS solution architecture or GIS application design.
- Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience designing interactive web GIS and mapping applications.
- Strong knowledge of GIS architecture, spatial data architecture, and GIS application components.
- Strong experience with FME or comparable GIS ETL and integration tools.
- Experience integrating GIS platforms with enterprise applications, APIs, and databases.
- Experience with GIS data modeling and spatial database concepts.
- Experience defining GIS analytical and spatial analytics solutions.
- Ability to assess and integrate geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS, Azure Maps, Mapbox, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Lakehouse environments.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and the Azure Data Platform.
- Experience with PostGIS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle Spatial.
- Experience with ArcGIS REST API, Feature Services, and Map Services.
- Python experience for geospatial data processing.
- Experience with Power BI and Fabric analytics.
- Experience designing cloud-based GIS architectures.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise data integration.
