Senior Legal Contract Manager – Public Sector and Defense (Remote)
Senior contract management role at Atos supporting complex public-sector and defense technology agreements. The position leads negotiations, governance, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder guidance across the contract lifecycle.
Tavsif
- Manage contracts across a portfolio of complex public-sector and defense accounts
- Provide strategic direction and comprehensive support throughout the contract lifecycle
- Review, draft, negotiate, interpret, and administer complex customer agreements
- Oversee MSAs, SOWs, amendments, change orders, renewals, extensions, subcontractor agreements, and NDAs
- Ensure contract documentation accurately reflects approved commercial and operational terms
- Support the transition from sales to delivery through contract handoffs and awareness activities
- Maintain contract repositories and monitor milestones, obligations, renewals, and notice periods
- Advise account leaders, executives, delivery teams, and customer stakeholders on contractual matters
- Support strategic pursuits, renewals, scope expansions, and significant contract changes
- Identify ways to increase contractual value and generate revenue
- Participate in executive governance meetings and customer reviews as the contract subject matter expert
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate contractual, commercial, regulatory, and compliance risks
- Create and maintain risk registers and contractual obligation matrices
- Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual commitments, government regulations, and industry standards
- Escalate material contract risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions
- Develop trusted relationships with customer contract, procurement, legal, and operational teams
- Lead contract discussions, negotiations, and issue resolution
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Delivery, Sales, and Executive Leadership
- Serve as the escalation point for complex contractual matters
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, public administration, finance, or a related discipline
- At least 8–10 years of progressively responsible contract management experience
- Substantial experience supporting public-sector, government, or defense customers
- Experience negotiating and managing complex technology services, outsourcing, managed services, cloud, or digital transformation contracts
- Strong knowledge of contract risk management, governance, and change management principles
- Experience engaging with executive leaders and customer stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities
- Experience supporting U.S. federal, state, and local government customers
