Senior AX and D365FO Architect

Lead technical support and reliability improvements for ASSA ABLOY’s EMEA Dynamics AX and D365FO environments. The role covers integrations, SQL performance, DevOps pipelines, and environment updates.

Tavsif

  • Lead operational technical discussions for EMEA Dynamics AX and D365FO.
  • Work with suppliers and EMEA IT colleagues to resolve recurring ERP incidents.
  • Troubleshoot AX and D365FO environment issues.
  • Improve technical support instructions.
  • Strengthen the reliability of production and nonproduction ERP environments.
  • Coordinate ERP technical issues with the GSSC Infrastructure team.
  • Check that service providers follow technical design policies.
  • Advise SOM and AMS technical teams on proposed solutions.
  • Help project teams resolve technical issues in their domains.
  • Maintain health monitoring to limit disruption and identify ERP issues promptly.
  • Partner with the EMEA ERP Technical Architect to improve ERP reliability and supportability.
  • Review suppliers’ root cause analyses and follow through on resulting fixes.
  • Provide technical guidance to Support and take part in supplier management discussions.
  • Deliver third-line support to support teams and business users.
  • Contribute to root cause investigations and problem management.
  • Improve ERP environment data refresh processes.
  • Help developers resolve operational issues.
  • Tune SQL query performance on AX databases.
  • Manage DevOps pipelines.
  • Manage D365FO environment updates.
  • Assess business requirements and design solutions that align with the EMEA template.
  • Demonstrate ERP tools and explain their use to users.
  • Report on completed work, implementations, testing, and deployments.

Talablar

  • At least 12 years of experience with Dynamics AX 2009 and 2012, and D365 Finance and Operations.
  • ERP implementation experience in large-scale environments serving more than 1,000 users.
  • Experience integrating AX and D365FO with external systems.
  • Experience installing and configuring Dynamics AX components.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics AX 2009, AX 2012, and D365FO.
  • Understanding of programming principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of formal software release and deployment management.
  • Experience working with global, geographically dispersed, multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with X++ coding and debugging, AIF, DIXF, D365FO data management, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Integration Stack, Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, LCS, and PPAC.
  • Familiarity with automated deployment and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Visual Studio Tools for Dynamics AX and X++, GitHub, Morph X++, and Team Foundation Server.
  • Effective spoken and written English communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to work at ASSA ABLOY locations across EMEA and willingness to travel.
  • A valid passport, or ability to obtain one.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the country of hire.
