Head of Data Operations - Autonomous Vehicles (Remote, Pennsylvania)

Lead Stack AV’s Data Operations function across mapping, labeling, and triage teams supporting autonomous trucking technology. Shape vendor strategy, operational automation, analytics, and data-quality programs at scale.

Tavsif

  • Lead Product Development’s Data Operations organization across Mapping, Labeling, Triage, and future operational functions
  • Define and continuously improve data ontologies, operator policies, and data specifications with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Build workflows and policies that support high-volume delivery of accurate labels, maps, and triage annotations
  • Manage strategic vendors and partner organizations handling ground-truth labeling, map production, and related operational work
  • Oversee vendor contracts, budgets, training programs, and compliance with operating policies
  • Work with tooling and infrastructure teams to establish requirements for next-generation tools and automation
  • Apply data analytics to improve workflows, throughput, and quality-control processes
  • Partner with Product, Autonomy, and Systems Engineering teams on autonomous-system development, validation, and deployment

Talablar

  • Bring 10+ years of operations management or related experience, including leadership of data-focused organizations
  • Have substantial experience leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for data annotation, mapping operations, triage, or comparable functions
  • Demonstrate expertise managing globally distributed workforce vendors and developing effective BPO strategies
  • Show a track record of designing, implementing, and scaling complex, data-intensive operational workflows
  • Demonstrate strong data-analysis skills, including defining, building, and reporting organization-wide business metrics
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics is strongly preferred but not required
  • Understand ML training for perception models, HD mapping, data infrastructure, and data-visualization tools
  • Be prepared to verify residence, U.S. person status, and/or citizenship status as required by national-security and export-control rules
  • Be able to satisfy applicable U.S. export-licensing requirements
