Opis

  • Lead and develop multiple teams of product-focused software engineers.
  • Set long-term technical strategy and architecture standards for enterprise platforms.
  • Align product roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities in partnership with senior engineering and business leaders.
  • Guide talent strategy, succession planning, skills development, and equitable opportunity.
  • Mentor engineers and support their professional and technical growth.
  • Partner with product managers to build market-driven application capabilities and customer experiences.
  • Continuously strengthen software engineering practices.
  • Design, build, test, implement, and support full-stack solutions across Agile teams.

  • Increase engineering velocity across teams.
  • Lead application deployments in AWS environments.
  • Design and scale agentic banking systems, distributed multi-agent systems, real-time decision engines, and voice and text orchestration platforms while upholding compliance, privacy, and resilience standards.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 7 years of people management experience.
  • At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
  • At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.
  • At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • At least 9 years of experience in data architecture.
  • Capital One will consider sponsoring a qualified new applicant for employment authorization.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Preferred: 12 or more years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
  • Preferred: 12 or more years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.

  • Preferred: 12 or more years of experience designing and building distributed high-performance computing and machine learning systems.

  • Preferred: 12 or more years of experience in data architecture.
  • Preferred: 12 or more years of professional coding experience in Go, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
  • Preferred: 10 or more years of experience with databases and database management systems.
  • Preferred: 12 or more years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle.
  • Preferred: 10 or more years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
  • Preferred: 12 or more years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems.
  • Preferred: 7 or more years of experience mentoring senior engineers and supporting their professional development.
  • Preferred: 3 or more years of experience leading cross-domain architecture reviews or establishing coding and design standards.
  • Expertise in strategically applying agentic AI coding tools.
