Opis

  • Support aviation logistics programs for MAD, AFLCMC, and the RED Air Force Liaison Office.
  • Advise RED and AFLO leaders on technical and logistical solutions for rotary-wing aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems through analysis, research, and technical guidance.
  • Manage aircraft parts and logistics material held in Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS).
  • Help Army and Air Force teams reduce unnecessary replacement costs and support depot overhaul and repair lines for aircraft and components.
  • Keep mission-critical items that cannot be issued from being sent downrange.
  • Oversee the processing, receipt, shipment, and reporting of incoming and outgoing aircraft parts.
  • Provide analytical and logistics support for repair development, technical evaluations, and advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Coordinate with Army Maneuver Air Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, and Readiness Engineering Division programs.

Zahteve

  • Relevant experience: 5 years with a related bachelor's degree, 3 years with a related master's degree, none with a related PhD or Juris Doctorate, or 9 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skilled in managing work in progress, material and component availability, data analysis, logistics challenges, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with aviation logistics management processes, requirements, and standards.
  • Able to use warehouse support equipment and lift 30 pounds.
  • Experience providing analytical and logistics support for a Department of Defense aviation component.
  • Aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience inspecting aviation component and system quality.
  • Able to write detailed technical substantiation analyses, reports, and briefings.
  • Strong listening, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, and technical reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Candidates must pass pre-employment background investigation and drug screening.
  • Preferred: DoD aircraft maintenance certification and production control or quality control qualifications.
  • Preferred: Logistics management experience supporting U.S. military aviation logistics processes, requirements, and standards.
  • Preferred: Experience at Corpus Christi Army Depot or another DoD depot maintenance facility.
  • Preferred: Experience with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services.
  • Preferred: Experience with military aviation depot, intermediate, or organizational-level maintenance repairs.
  • Preferred: At least three years of experience with data warehousing principles and best practices, cross-functional knowledge, asset management, and COSIS.
  • Preferred: Active DoD security clearance.
