Opis

  • Win new pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients for medical communications services
  • Build relationships with senior Medical Affairs and Medical Information stakeholders, including heads, VPs, and directors
  • Generate opportunities through targeted outreach, industry connections, networking, and in-person meetings
  • Manage sales from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiation, and close
  • Assess client needs and present specialized medical and scientific communications solutions
  • Represent the organization at pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical communications industry events
  • Hold regular client meetings, network, and attend industry events in the field
  • Travel in California and elsewhere in the U.S. as business needs require

Zahteve

  • At least five years of business development experience
  • Agency-side experience in medical, healthcare, or scientific communications, or a closely related life sciences agency
  • A track record of personally generating and closing B2B business with pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology companies
  • Experience working directly with senior Medical Affairs and/or Medical Information stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of how pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies work with external medical communications agencies
  • Experience developing new accounts
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Self-directed and commercially minded approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting
  • Current residence in California
  • Willingness to travel in California and elsewhere in the U.S. as business needs require
  • Completion of the application form, pre-screening questionnaire, and one-way video interview
  • Shortlisted candidates must complete a background check, subject to applicable requirements
