Descriere

  • Perform structural analysis and design for complex mineral-processing and heavy-industrial structures
  • Apply Australian and international standards to structural designs and calculations
  • Contribute to engineering projects in Australia and international markets
  • Prepare structural deliverables, including reports, specifications, drawings, analysis models, calculation packages, and quantity estimates
  • Inspect existing structures and structures under construction through field reviews
  • Review and assess technical work produced by junior engineers and designers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and colleagues
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior staff
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines across global offices
  • Support proposals and estimate project hours and fees
  • Help Design Managers report on design progress

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
  • At least three years of engineering experience in a design, consultancy, or operational environment
  • Working knowledge of Australian standards AS 1170, AS 4100, AS 5131, and AS 3600
  • CPENG and/or P.Eng accreditation
  • Proficiency with structural engineering software such as SPACE GASS and SAP2000
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis and software such as Strand7 and ANSYS
  • Experience using Navisworks for 3D design reviews
