Descriere

  • Drive strategic initiatives from analysis through implementation, spanning pricing, product economics, go-to-market plans, and capital allocation.
  • Define problems, assess options, build alignment around recommendations, and help deliver and measure results.
  • Manage driver-based forecasts, headcount and capacity models, and regular KPI dashboards.
  • Help develop the annual budget and long-range financial plan.
  • Investigate monthly and quarterly variances and recommend next steps.
  • Assess funnel performance, marketing returns, retention, gross margin, and customer economics.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations on goals, hiring and investment proposals, and tradeoffs.
  • Prepare analysis and written narratives for selected board and investor materials.
  • Assist with fundraising and due diligence.
  • Manage finance systems projects from requirements and vendor assessment through rollout and adoption.
  • Apply AI and automation to make work faster and more reliable.
  • Work with Accounting and Data to improve data quality.

Cerințe

  • Typically 5–8 years of experience combining rigorous analytical training in investment banking, investing, or a comparable role with operating finance at a fast-growing B2B software company.
  • Can build clear, driver-based Excel models from the ground up.
  • Shows ownership, sound judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Understands SaaS metrics and unit economics, including ARR, retention, CAC, payback, and gross margin.
  • Has practical experience using and validating AI in work or workflow automation.
  • Can explain complex analysis clearly and communicate findings candidly.
  • Raises issues early and challenges assumptions constructively.
  • SQL and BI tools such as Hex, Looker, or Sigma are a plus.
  • Experience with pricing, sales compensation, or subscription and usage-based revenue models is a plus.
  • Exposure to fundraising, board reporting, or planning tools such as Pigment or Anaplan is a plus.
