Staff Product Manager, Content Discovery Infrastructure (US Remote)
Lead Pinterest’s content-to-discovery infrastructure strategy, covering acquisition, enrichment, indexing, and retrieval. Help scale the systems that connect Pinners with creative ideas.
Descriere
- Set and execute a multi-year strategy for the full content-to-discovery lifecycle, from acquisition and processing through indexing and retrieval.
- Own the infrastructure roadmap for content, scraping, and catalog onboarding.
- Lead extraction, processing, metadata enrichment, and freshness lifecycle initiatives.
- Manage indexing strategy across Shopping and Search.
- Own retrieval and serving capabilities, including latency, performance signals, and inventory.
- Establish freshness and reliability measures, using data to guide investment and demonstrate results.
- Collaborate with content, shopping, search, and infrastructure teams.
- Represent the platform as its spokesperson.
- Mentor fellow product managers in an individual-contributor role.
Cerințe
- At least 10 years of experience in product management or technical leadership.
- Experience building and launching content, catalog, or commerce-supply platforms and infrastructure at scale.
- Hands-on experience with content or catalog acquisition and onboarding, data enrichment and freshness pipelines, search or shopping indexing, or low-latency retrieval and serving systems.
- A track record of improving data quality, freshness, or relevance metrics across large, multi-stage pipelines.
- Strong technical judgment across ingestion, indexing, and serving architecture.
- Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams and systems.
- An analytical, strategic approach with the judgment to make high-accountability decisions and define impact metrics.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at every organizational level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
