Description

  • Set and execute a multi-year strategy for the full content-to-discovery lifecycle, from acquisition and processing through indexing and retrieval.
  • Own the infrastructure roadmap for content, scraping, and catalog onboarding.
  • Lead extraction, processing, metadata enrichment, and freshness lifecycle initiatives.
  • Manage indexing strategy across Shopping and Search.
  • Own retrieval and serving capabilities, including latency, performance signals, and inventory.
  • Establish freshness and reliability measures, using data to guide investment and demonstrate results.
  • Collaborate with content, shopping, search, and infrastructure teams.
  • Represent the platform as its spokesperson.
  • Mentor fellow product managers in an individual-contributor role.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in product management or technical leadership.
  • Experience building and launching content, catalog, or commerce-supply platforms and infrastructure at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with content or catalog acquisition and onboarding, data enrichment and freshness pipelines, search or shopping indexing, or low-latency retrieval and serving systems.
  • A track record of improving data quality, freshness, or relevance metrics across large, multi-stage pipelines.
  • Strong technical judgment across ingestion, indexing, and serving architecture.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams and systems.
  • An analytical, strategic approach with the judgment to make high-accountability decisions and define impact metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills at every organizational level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Applicants must be based in the United States.
