Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
Operate and evolve complex infrastructure and AI platforms at Thüga SmartService, supporting digital services for municipal utilities, municipalities, and industry. Strengthen secure architecture, automation, and reliable operations.
Descriere
- Run and enhance core IT infrastructure, technical platforms, and applications.
- Administer and improve virtualization, server, and infrastructure environments.
- Operate and develop the new AI platform.
- Assess vulnerabilities and coordinate and track the resulting security measures.
- Monitor systems and continually improve existing solutions.
- Manage configuration management and the CMDB, and maintain and expand technical documentation.
- Plan and perform maintenance, installation, and configuration work.
- Resolve complex technical tickets and incidents through thorough analysis and lasting fixes.
- Advise on technical architectures and solution concepts, assessing feasibility and operational suitability.
- Connect IT Operations, Development, business teams, and Architecture as a technical point of contact.
- Guide new solutions from initial design into stable, secure production operation.
- Contribute to infrastructure, security, architecture, and automation initiatives.
- Find and implement technical improvements and automation opportunities.
- Join the IT on-call rotation after completing the required training.
Cerințe
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience operating and developing complex IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of server, virtualization, and platform environments.
- Experience with monitoring, configuration management, and CMDB systems.
- IT security experience, particularly in vulnerability management, is desirable.
- Experience analyzing complex technical incidents and resolving them effectively over the long term.
- Expertise in planning and developing IT architectures.
- Experience with automation and introducing new technologies.
- An analytical, methodical, and independent approach to work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with readiness to join on-call duty after training.
- German language proficiency at C1 level is required.
