Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Customer Delivery

Descriere

  • Lead architecture and delivery of Distyl AI’s platform in hosted, customer VPC, and on-premises environments.
  • Work with customers, platform engineers, and forward-deployed AI engineers from discovery through production.
  • Turn customer architecture needs into working infrastructure, reusable designs, and automation.
  • Maintain portable reference architectures for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Deploy and upgrade the platform with infrastructure as code, Docker, Kubernetes, and shared CI/CD tools.
  • Support private registries, restricted network egress, offline installations and upgrades, and alternatives to cloud-managed services.
  • Develop provisioning services, controllers, and reusable deployment APIs in Python or Go.
  • Guide customer relationships, clarify needs, explain tradeoffs, and keep stakeholders aligned through production acceptance.
  • Implement network segmentation, data residency controls, audit trails, service-level objectives, observability, alerts, and disaster recovery.
  • Resolve infrastructure incidents and improve reliability, runbooks, and support handoffs.
  • Build and operate tenant isolation, provisioning, quotas, autoscaling, metering, and cost attribution for hosted deployments.
  • Help develop AI runtime infrastructure, including agent sandboxing, workload identity, scoped credentials, network controls, and resource limits.
  • Create agent-assisted workflows for environment checks, troubleshooting, and infrastructure changes.
  • Set delivery standards, mentor engineers, and turn customer experience into product improvements.

Cerințe

  • At least seven years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or related technical delivery roles.
  • Extensive production experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and working experience with a second cloud provider.
  • Experience in customer-facing engineering, with direct responsibility for technical delivery and stakeholder communication.
  • Practical experience with networking, identity and access management, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability, including workload identity, scoped credentials, and resource limits.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining production infrastructure as code.
  • Strong production experience with Python or Go for building reusable infrastructure software.
  • Experience operating hosted infrastructure with tenant isolation, provisioning, capacity controls, and usage and cost visibility.
  • Experience translating customer needs into production architectures with CI/CD and identity, network, and data integrations.
  • Experience delivering under strict access, network, security, and change controls, including private registries or restricted egress.
  • Experience implementing network segmentation, data residency controls, audit trails, service-level objectives, disaster recovery, and incident response.
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
  • Ability to independently lead complex deployments and set technical direction across teams.
  • Strong preference for infrastructure delivery and operations in enterprise customer environments, including production deployments across multiple clouds.
  • Preferred experience with on-premises installation or upgrades, offline operation, or replacing cloud-managed dependencies.
  • Preferred experience with agent sandboxing or technical AI governance.
