Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Engineer - Remote Washington
Lead NVIDIA’s security certification and compliance programs across ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and export controls. Improve audit operations, certification workflows, and cross-functional compliance processes.
Descriere
- Own the planning, execution, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST 800-series certifications
- Establish and run compliance and audit processes while streamlining certification workflows
- Partner with internal stakeholders to lower certification costs and reduce operational complexity
- Triage and prioritize certification requests across the organization
- Lead audit onboarding, preparation, and coordination with external assessors
- Deliver the certification roadmap through reporting, risk escalation, and stakeholder updates
- Coordinate continuous compliance audits related to export controls
- Identify and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency and align with changing standards
Cerințe
- At least eight years of experience developing and operating certification onboarding programs
- Ability to interpret security frameworks and embed them into organizational processes
- Strong knowledge of international and regional regulations across EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM, and NAM
- Proven experience leading internal and external compliance audits and working with certification bodies
- Practical understanding of GRC principles with experience implementing automation
- Relevant certification or equivalent training, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer, CMMC Certified Professional or Assessor, or NIST Cybersecurity Framework certification
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Compliance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Evidence of improving audit operations through stronger evidence collection, reuse, and stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge of certification requirements across hardware, software, cloud, and enterprise environments
- Experience in Big Four or comparable assessment and advisory work
- Previous experience supporting mergers and acquisitions
- Knowledge of export controls, including ITAR, EAR, and ACS IFR
