Descriere

  • Design and deliver complex Azure platform solutions that meet enterprise architecture standards.
  • Own and improve Azure identity, networking, governance, and DevOps pipeline capabilities.
  • Connect hybrid cloud environments through Azure networking and identity services.
  • Lead infrastructure as code development with Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
  • Strengthen governance, identity, networking, and security across Azure Landing Zones.
  • Apply approved platform standards, engineering patterns, and cloud guardrails.
  • Improve visibility with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Optimize cloud costs and financial transparency through tagging, budgets, and usage analytics.
  • Track and improve cloud resource use and platform performance.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
  • Build AI-assisted automation for provisioning, monitoring, and operational work.
  • Create reusable templates, scripts, and modules that enable self-service platform capabilities.
  • Integrate governance controls, policy enforcement, and configuration management into automation workflows.
  • Mentor Systems Engineers and technical colleagues.
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies and iterative delivery of cloud initiatives.
  • Support the Cloud Center of Excellence with knowledge sharing, documentation, tools, and best practices.
  • Apply Azure governance controls, secure-by-default settings, and identity governance.
  • Lead cloud business continuity and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Deliver highly available solutions using availability zones, automated failover, and cloud-native backups.
  • Assess new Azure capabilities and recommend platform improvements.
  • Guide teams on cloud engineering practices, automation-first approaches, and modern architectures.
  • Make design and implementation decisions within enterprise standards and cloud guardrails.
  • Lead investigations and resolution of platform performance, cost, reliability, and security issues.
  • Provide engineering input to cloud platform work prioritization.

Cerințe

  • A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive IT infrastructure or platform engineering experience, including recent, sustained hands-on work designing and operating enterprise-scale Azure environments.
  • Deep infrastructure as code expertise; Bicep is preferred.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience.
  • Advanced experience with Windows/Linux, Entra ID/Active Directory, and hybrid networking.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and modern Git-based workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud cost management, observability, and performance optimization.
  • Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Extensive Azure governance experience, including Azure Policy, RBAC, and tagging standards.
  • Expertise in ExpressRoute, VPN, and Private Endpoints.
  • Experience supporting modernization, migration, and automation initiatives.
  • Experience with Azure-native application hosting, such as App Services, Functions, or AKS, is preferred.
  • Recent hands-on Azure platform engineering experience in enterprise environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Azure-native AI capabilities is a plus.
  • Preferred certifications include AZ-305, AZ-400, and AZ-500.
  • Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
