Senior Audit Associate – Turkey Remote

Lead U.S. audit engagements, compliance activities, and financial analysis for Manay CPA. Support accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and reporting services for a diverse client base while working remotely from Turkey.

Descriere

  • Own onboarding for new audit clients by establishing engagement workflows and documentation structures
  • Manage daily audit work, including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, workpaper preparation, and program completion
  • Review junior staff deliverables and provide practical direction
  • Use Thomson Reuters Engagement for audit, reporting, and compliance work
  • Prepare and review audit schedules, management letters, reconciliations, and related documentation
  • Develop and execute substantive tests and analytical review procedures
  • Evaluate financial information for trends, irregularities, and potential risks
  • Investigate complex audit, accounting, and regulatory matters and recommend practical resolutions
  • Support U.S. federal and state compliance, year-end reporting, and filing activities
  • Contribute to accounting, tax, and audit engagements, including bookkeeping, tax return preparation, and financial reporting
  • Recommend improvements to clients’ audit, accounting, and financial processes
  • Contribute to firm-wide process improvement initiatives
  • Manage special assignments and prepare financial reports
  • Coach and support junior team members

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related discipline
  • At least five years of auditing, accounting, and/or tax experience
  • Required experience in public accounting or external audit
  • Experience leading fieldwork and reviewing or mentoring junior colleagues is preferred
  • Willingness to work across audit, accounting, and tax engagements
  • Turkish CPA (SMMM) or Turkish Sworn-in CPA (YMM) licensure is strongly preferred
  • US GAAP and/or IFRS experience is advantageous; comprehensive training is available
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Substantial experience using audit or accounting software systems
  • Ability to perform sophisticated, creative analysis of complex financial data and pinpoint risk areas
  • Excellent written and spoken Business English; interviews are conducted in English
  • Strong commitment to building a long-term auditing and assurance career, with motivation to progress into leadership
  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and sound independent judgment
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving settings
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to guide and support less experienced colleagues
  • Work from a home office
  • Availability during U.S. time zones, based on Eastern Time
  • Willingness to travel when required
