Descriere

  • Provide engineering and operational coverage for several large, distributed applications.
  • Track and tune system performance, anticipate customer needs, and expand platform capabilities.
  • Develop software and tooling to operate platform infrastructure and applications.
  • Raise the reliability and quality of software while shortening delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with development teams on thorough testing and controlled releases.
  • Contribute to system design, platform operations, and capacity forecasting.
  • Resolve technical issues and coordinate projects with development and engineering teams.
  • Complete technical initiatives of varying scope on schedule.
  • Handle escalations for support incidents and service requests.
  • Advance continuous improvement, integration, and delivery practices.
  • Join the on-call schedule.

Cerințe

  • Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases.
  • Familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, or PHP.
  • Knowledge of automated application or platform deployment and configuration tools such as Ansible, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Awareness of AWS and other cloud infrastructure services.
  • Linux system administration capability.
  • Can independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve problems.
  • Able to learn independently and document knowledge as experience develops.
  • Experience helping a team operate and maintain infrastructure.
  • Takes initiative to identify issues, improvement opportunities, and performance constraints.
  • Can organise work priorities, including occasional incident and problem management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and their application.
  • Interest in software development, emerging technologies, and innovation.
  • Experience helping development teams address technical debt through refactoring.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Nagios.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Nginx or other web server technologies.
  • Knowledge of Gluster or storage systems.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, particularly Kibana.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and Druid.
