Remote ETF Tax Management Associate at Tidal Financial Group
Support tax administration, reporting, and distributions for Tidal Financial Group’s ETF platform. Prepare tax returns, provisions, and book-to-tax analyses.
Descriere
- Support the VP of Tax Management in overseeing tax administration services and expanding tax offerings.
- Work with Fund Administration leaders and the VP of Tax Management to develop tax administration services.
- Help analyze and calculate dividend and capital gains distribution rates with the Fund Administration team.
- Prepare ROCSOP, tax adjustments, and classifications for shareholder reports.
- Prepare income and excise tax returns.
- Calculate and track book-to-tax differences.
- Supply tax reallocation data for shareholder Form 1099 reporting.
- Coordinate tax disclosures for financial statements.
- Prepare fiscal year-end tax provisions for auditors.
- Help auditors calculate excise distributions.
- Research the tax treatment of security types held in client ETFs.
- Work with clients to support their ETFs and businesses.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience
- Two to four years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of mutual fund tax laws and regulations, with practical experience applying them
- Exchange-traded fund experience strongly preferred
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Able to adapt to changes in technology
- Experience with multiple fund accounting and reporting systems
- Preference for candidates near Chicago, Illinois; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; New York City, New York; or West Palm Beach, Florida
