Remote Credit Controller and Finance Administrator
Manage collections, payment plans, reconciliations, and invoice checks for a property group, working with UK clients and finance teams. This fully remote role is based in South Africa.
Descriere
- Manage the debtor ledger.
- Follow up on overdue payments by phone and email.
- Agree structured payment plans with debtors.
- Meet cash collection targets.
- Serve as a professional contact for clients, tenants, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve account queries.
- Reconcile bank accounts and accounting systems daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Check and verify supplier and contractor invoices before processing.
- Keep accurate records and clear audit trails.
- Follow consistent procedures in support of the wider UK finance team.
Cerințe
- Experience as a Credit Controller handling collections and aged debtors.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- A professional and effective telephone manner.
- Able to handle difficult financial conversations with tact and firmness.
- Resilient, persistent, self-directed, and able to follow through under pressure.
- Able to make decisions independently without close supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, including identifying discrepancies, missing payments, and duplicate transactions.
- Sound judgment and initiative.
- Able to investigate problems and suggest solutions before seeking help.
- Xero experience is useful but not required.
- Property industry experience is useful but not required.
- Available to work UK business hours; an 8:00 AM UK start is strongly preferred.
- Able to work fully remotely from South Africa.
