Descriere
- Oversee business office operations while following applicable federal, state, and local requirements
- Coordinate with the Central Billing Office on private, Medicare, Medicaid, and other managed-care insurance payments
- Process accounts receivable refunds
- Keep accurate logs and reports for resident funds, census information, and case accounts
- Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by the administrator
Cerințe
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- An associate degree in business or accounting is preferred
- Previous business office experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting is required
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, government agencies, representatives, and community members
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
- Present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bring a flexible, energetic approach and a genuine interest in working with seniors
- Passion for working with seniors
